They call meThey call me; they choose me  They dance with me, and flirt.  They run and try to avoid my hand,  my touch.  Some even beckon me, with  slit wrists and poisoned minds,  I come to all in time.   
You choose me too,  
using your own ends.  Figuring out how to avoid me  I'm at the end of every path you take  Come.   
They call me the mind reader,  and the thought seeder.  I bring you easy escape,  
or the hard road...  Which do you take?  They call me the rot-maker  and the life-taker.

Strange, dear friend.I've told you once, and a million times before.  You scare me.  Nobody has ever paid attention so closely;  nobody dared to approach me  so obviously before.   
Aggressive nervousness like a caged beast is within  all of us; but you bring it out the best.  You get close enough to touch, and I must remind myself  not to let you nearer.   
Because you have the key.  You have the key to my heart, soul, and body;  an expert at plucking my violin heartstrings to play whatever tune you wish.  So out of tune, though, it is.   
You know which buttons to press, even though Strange, dear friend.

It is crazy because it's hard to say,  that I do know, when I find out new things each day.  I think, somehow you're trying to push me away  from your secrets;  
but isn't that what friends do?  A confidence who  would never, ever, judge you.   
Its maddening, that I think you know me,  even though I won't let you see,  these hard-pressed poems that I keep in  my little black book.

White with Black StripesZebra Zebra with your stripes,  blinding white, black and white.  You stand in the crowd and feel so secure,  but when the lion comes you're all alone.   
Zebra Zebra what will you do  
when the one zebra left behind is you?  The lion comes, it pounces, it leaps.  You foam with exertion,  you know what fear means.   
Zebra oh Zebra! You can't blend in now,  your friends have all galloped away  saving their own matching skins.  Zebra how it must feel to be you,  I'm sorry, but,  they have to eat to.

Hiya! I must warn you, this is not a trick. I actually *am* updating my dusty journal! All I want is, your brains.

Well, not really. That would be too messy.

But I would like your ideas! Anything, anything to write about. I feel like I only write when I'm sad, and that leaves an awfully depressing gallery. It might do some good for me to write about anything else you can think of!

P.S. I would rather not write anything.. uh.. Sexual. So, please. No.

So leave a comment for your ideas. Anything at all! Oranges, clowns, puppies, poets, whatever the handle on a zipper is called, or eyelets on a shoelace, please! :)
